Ulmus glabra 'Horizontalis' Weeping Wych Elm, Old Swan

This tree is located in the Old Swan area of Liverpool. It is a street tree managed by Liverpool City Council. It was successfully treated for a DED infection in about 1983 and has remained healthy ever since. Its location was originally an entrance to the Estate of Lord Derby and the tree was of similar size to that shown below in 1916.
