Huntingdon Elm, Chelsea Rd.

The Elm here is known in Sheffield as "The Chelsea Elm". It has been the focus of the protests by the group called STAG. There has been a lot of media coverage about this tree inc, Private Eye, Yorkshire Post & BBC. The 1st photo was the first photo I took of the Whiteletter Hairstreak in my attic. July 2014. The second is of an egg we found at the end of a day checking the trimmings as they came off the tree just before 'The Beast from the East' arrived. The 3rd photo is as it looks today.
