Ulmus carpinifolia Short-leaved, Hemington House Cottage East, Lutton Road, near Hemington

Might have been planted as a sheltering wind break for the house on this exposed site. The area hosted airstrips in the Second World War so I am guessing these trees might have been planted after the war, say around 1950. No evidence, that's just a guess.
