Growing a Better Future

New Community Awards partnership launched

Wherever our community is, let’s make the most of it. Our parks and gardens have been a lifeline during the two years of the pandemic. The colours, smells and benefits of being outside have never been so appreciated. Now we need to do all we can to show that we care.

Communities in Bristol, Chelmsford and Birmingham can now apply for a new award to help their own local environment flourish.

The Conservation Foundation is working with Foresters Financial, a financial service provider with a difference, to support with funds and volunteer-power:

River Litter clean up

‘Pick Me Up’ Community Clean-ups – in parks, riverbanks, roadsides, or any spot in the community that would be improved by a big clean-up

Bee pollinating

‘Bee the Change’ Pollinator Projects – planting much-needed habitat that bees and other important pollinating insects need for food, shelter, and nurseries

Community Gardening

‘Grow it Forward’ Community Garden Projects – for those without access to their own gardens to enjoy the thrill of eating home grown vegetables, fruits, and herbs
