St James’s Garden Liverpool

24th Sept 2018. Liverpool’s green lung.

A project begun by The Conservation Foundation in 2002 was featured on BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time recently. This 11 acre site beside Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral had become a no-go area until the Foundation brought together local people to form the Friends of St James’s who have worked tirelessly ever since to manage this popular and historic garden, a huge asset to the city.
