Two of the trees are healthy. The third has dieback, but not necessarily Dutch elm disease; could be any number of stressors, e.g. dry soil of relatively high pH, dense undergrowth. We have notified the trees to Conwy Council Conservation Department who have recognised the importance of these elms and given them some sort of protected status.

This stand of 3 Elms is on part of the Mostyn Estates freehold and the current leaseholder is the Em, Ty Gwyn Road, Llandudno LL30 2LT
This is a row of 3 elms in a neglected garden next to a ruined cottage on Ty Gwyn Road. Interestingly, the middle elm is stunted and suffering from dieback, but the two flanking trees, described here, are healthy and growing vigorously. See photos.
